After Sajid Khan got wrapped in the whirlwind of #MeToo movement as four women accused him of sexual harassment, he had to lose a lot of things, his image, his position and most importantly his respect among others.
Many Bollywood celebs have condemned Sajid Khan and vowed to never work with him, ever again. The latest addition is Dia Mirza.
Dia had done a cameo in Sajid’s ‘Heyy Baby’, she comments: “I was deeply disturbed. I agree that Sajid was obnoxious, extremely sexist and ridiculous. Even for me, the details of these accounts are beyond shocking. I have personally always have had a radar for such people. I have never invested in a relationship with such people even in the workplace. We often brush off certain kind of behaviour. But I wouldn’t have imagined that Sajid could be capable of doing this to a woman. I completely understand the shock people are feeling right now, but it would be unfair to say that the names that are coming out is shocking.”
Dia also mentions that she had to lose work in the past as she was not ready to agree to certain ‘demands’. She says that she was fortunate enough that she did not face any such horrific incident in her career.
The women who have accused Sajid are - Journalist Karishma Upadhyay, Actors Rachel White and Simran Soni and Assistant director Saloni Chopra.
