Wallflowers, listening to this, you must be thinking of “Perks Of Being A Wallflower” but you have not given a thought of why the movie was named so, right?
Wallflowers are those flowers which grow in old-fashioned bedding plants, easy to grow and hard to get unnoticed. Though, they do not bloom all through the year mostly but for months that it does, it fills the world with color, joy and beautiful fragrance.
1. Cow Vetch
This delicate climbing vine are densely arranged in unilateral in the shape like drooping spikelets. Measures at approximately 1.2 m, you can find cow vetch in various colors in the range of blue to lavender shades.
2. Himalayan Wallflower
This wallflower is a leafy biennial or perennial which varies from yellow to orange in color. The plant generally grows 30-80 cm high and the leaves of the plants are linearly pointed.
3. Sweet William (Dianthus Barbatus)
Also known as the ‘Indian Carpet Mix’ because of the colorful palatte it creates when the plant blooms with white, pink and red flowers. It blooms from spring to summer which makes it perfect for gardening.
4. Spiere Bloom Blossom
This is a blossom from stone fruit trees and they are known for looking pretty before the fruits start to appear. Also these blossoms help and provide pollen to pollinators such as bees, it initiates cross-pollination to reproduce by producing fruit.
5. Sweet Autumn Clematis
The sweet autumn clematis is a perennial plant which looks heavenly in a bush bloom. It blooms during August and September which means, the rain releases its fragrance supremely.
