Tapsee Pannu, who showed her immense talent in films like Pink, Mulk or the latest release Mannmarziyaan has finally cemented her position as an A-lister. People know her and she enjoys a massive fan following, and hands down, she deserves every bit of appreciation she is getting.

Recently, Tapsee was in conversation with noted critics – Rajeev Masand and Anupama Chopra and there she spilled beans about her career and life, she said: "After my first film released. Actually that is true and by no means it should be taken that I don't love my job right now. I am doing it because I am loving it. In the beginning, I have been very honest about the fact it was not something that I planned for myself. I wanted to do MBA in marketing and do a regular job, probably something creative but in the MBA space, but not this risky or crazy I'll say. I jumped into this profession only to while away one year of my life while I prep for my MBA. And when movies happened, I took two films at a time -- one Tamil, one Telugu to see, 'Let's have fun, enjoy, we will learn something new and life is not really wasted, and rather than sitting at home and only studying, might as well learn something new as well'."

She was also asked, ‘Who is that one filmmaker she is eagerly waiting to work with?’
To this question, Tapsee replied: "I want to be a Mani Ratnam heroine once. Very rarely I get to be a heroine first of all, so I want to be a Mani Ratnam heroine because it is something very pure and real at the same. He is one director who can... You will be real as a character but he will still make you look aspirational at the same time."
