Shahid Kapoor entered in the industry as the next door chocolate boy with adorable looks, it took him a long time to finally shed his ‘too good to be true’ image and unleash the hunk within him.
It was 2009 when Shahid knocked the box office with Vishal Bhardwaj’s ‘Kaminey’, his ripped muscles and toned body in the film bowled everyone. Since then, he has not looked back and has strived hard every day to achieve an envious body.

DIET
Shahid is a strict vegetarian, hence he needs to rely on veggies and protein shakes to meet the protein need of his body. He eats a lot of beans, pulses, and spinach. Whey protein and Pre-Workout is an essential ingredient in his gym routine.

INGREDIENTS HE AVOIDS
He is very particular about the intake of salt in his diets, the salt is always bare minimum and he takes almost no refined sugar, he compensates his sugar need from all the fresh fruits he eats in a day. Apple, Oranges, Pomegranate and Papaya are his favorite.

WORKOUT PLAN
Shahid Kapoor trains hard six days a week and he devotes Sunday to relax his sore muscles. This is how his routine goes :-
Workout routine for Monday, Wednesday, Friday
Set 1: Five sets of the following exercises, each repeated 12 times
1).Flat Bench Press

3).Dead Lifts

Set 2: Five sets of the following exercises, each repeated 12 times
1).Incline Dumbbell Press
2).Overhead Press

Set 3: Five sets of the following exercises, each repeated 12 times
1).Seated Row
2).Chest Fly
3).Dumbbell Rear Deltoid Fly

Workout routine for Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday
Set 1: Four sets of the following exercises, each repeated 15 times
1).Leg Extensions
2).Squats
3).Leg Curls
4).Standing Calf Raises

Set 2: Four sets of the following exercises, each repeated 12 times
1).Leg Press
2).Stiff Leg Deadlift
3).Step Up
4).Seated Calf Raises
