Many might think that winter is a sad time and there are many for whom the weather is too cold to enjoy. Also, there are people who utterly enjoy winter and wait for the season to come at the earliest and never leave. If you fall into the later or if you particularly don’t like winter as much, here are some of the reasons why winter is the best season for you:
First and foremost, you are going to save a lot of Electricity, thus, Money. In winter days, you don’t have to switch on the AC 24*7, these three months, you will not even switch it on at all. So, in the electricity dept., you will be saving 3-5K for a 2 BHK apartment. Also, fans will be switched off.
So, all this money, you will be saving, do you invest it or save it?
It is entirely your choice but here are a few things you can do. You can save the money into you savings account but if you are a money-spender, it is not recommended. At the end of the winter none of the money will be saved this way.
Therefore, for money-spenders, it is recommended to make start a recurring deposit, this way you will definitely be saving the money. Or else, you can spend the money by buying things you actually need but didn’t for a long time like furniture, appliances or phone and many other things.
If you are going to invest, make sure that the investment is worth it. Even if you are buying clothes, make sure the clothes are timeless. For example, if you are buying a leather jacket, don’t choose the design which will go out of fashion next season, it will be a waste then.
Travelling is another good option for investment.
You can also invest on books because they are full of profits. The more you read, the more active your brain will become and more you will be empowered to earn more, become independent and lead a great life ahead. Also, if you consume yourself in books, it will not only give you knowledge but distract your mind from other forms of wasting money.
You can spend on gym as winter is known for laziness. So if you get a membership of gym in winters, you can do 30 mins to 1 hour of workout in the morning, rest of the day you can chill as you want.
