Salman Khan ‘s filmography for 2018 has been largely forgettable as his much anticipated ‘Race 3’ tanked at the box office but he has high hopes with his next film ‘Bharat’ which is helmed by hit director Ali Abbas Zafar.
Fans are elated ever since the news broke out and they just cannot wait for the film to hit the theatres. This morning, the happiness was amplified as Salman shared a glimpse from the movie where he and Katrina are standing at Wagah border gawking at the border gate in an indistinct manner.
Bharat is the Hindi adaptation of South Korean film Ode To My Father. Salman, Katrina, and others are currently filming Bharat in Chandigarh. The film also stars Disha Patani, Tabu, Nora Fatehi and Sunil Grover in pivotal roles.
The hit pairing of Salman-Katrina is coming on screen together for the sixth time and fans are excited about this. Earlier the film had Priyanka in lead role but things did not fall in place as Priyanka opted out of the film at last moment, which is when Katrina came on board. Talking about Katrina, Salman had said: "She is already doing Zero with Shah Rukh Khan, Thugs Of Hindostan with Aamir Khan and another film with Yash Raj Films. With all these films, she said yes to Bharat, because of which we are very grateful to her. She is extremely hard working."
The film will release on Eid 2019.
