Will ‘Zero’ be able to earn critical acclaim or the efforts of Anand L. Rai will go in vain? That’s a question everyone has raised when the first poster of it was made out by the film makers and its cast.
The name of the movie and also Shah Rukh Khan’s appearance in it as a short man looked quite challenging. With its trailer releasing on 2nd November which calls the birthday of King Khan, the fans couldn’t keep cool. The promising role of Shah Rukh Khan as ‘Bauua’ born to a rich family but turns out to be physically challenged suffering from dwarfism.’ He falls in love with ‘Aafia Bhinder’ (Anushka Sharma) who happens to be a NASA scientist suffering from cerebral palsy. Bauua is seen making Anushka Sharma feel at the top of the world by his loving gestures. Moving forward we see a twist in the plot with Katrina Kaif as megastar ‘Babita’ who seems to come in between the lovebirds someway and a love triangle which develops decides the fate of the three.
The movie as acknowledged from sources is SRK’s most expensive one till now. Not only is it bringing back the beautiful trio of created by Yash Raj in ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ but the film is supposed to have the last appearance of Sridevi, which happens to be quite a moving factor of the film.
Shah Rukh Khan’s new experiment from a romantic hero to a dwarf lover is something new to his fans. It’s obvious that fans are infused with more expectations now and is hoping that this new director-actor debut will hit the platform with their best. The past two years have not been that good with Khan when it came to critical acclaim, with the graph going down from ‘Raaes’ to ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’. We can wish to look forward to ‘Zero’ as reassuring our faith in him yet again and somewhere down we believe that the King will rise and win our hearts yet again.
