The happy occasion of November, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone’s wedding tops the list of fans’ excitement without any doubt. The fans went almost berserk while waiting for the first pictures of Deepveer's wedding. Ofcourse the couple looked supremely gorgeous but Deepika was looking straight out from the film Padmaavat.
One of the talking points after the first pictures came out was the stunning red lehenga DP wore in the Sindhi style wedding. The couple chose to complete all the ceremonies in both Konkani tradition which is Deepika’s ethnicity and Sindhi tradition which Ranveer’s ethnicity. Both the hotties wore Sabyasachi outfit at both Konkani and Sindhi ceremonies.
Sabyasachi Mukherjee can be very well said as the Sanjay Leela Bhansali of the fashion industry. He is the master of bridal ensembles and Deepika’s wedding was another wedding where we saw the grandness of Sabyasachi’s creation.
The bridal ensembles he creates is unlike anyone else. DP‘s Sindhi bridal lehenga was something which was gorgeous to say the least. It had all the element of making her look good yet so desi with ‘Sada Saubhagyavati Bhava’ embroidered all over the border of her dupatta.
Deepika’s costumes ofcourse caught most of the attention, both from the Sindhi and Konkani wedding. Since the Konkani wedding costume was not entirely created by Sabyasachi, thus, the designer has released a video of making of the red lehenga the actress wore.
From the words ‘Sada Saubhagyavati Bhava’ was embroidered using peacock motifs, gold sequin details, and even the latkans. It is not just what you see but an army had worked with much thought and detail to put together every element to make it look authentic, pure and beautiful all at the same time.
Didn’t she look like Rani Padmini in her wedding?
