The never-ending rivalry of India and Pakistan is not a hidden case, everyone knows it and everyone talks about it.

The two countries compete against each other in almost every arena but when these countries are pitted against each other in a cricket field, the rivalry takes a whole new face altogether.

But, let us admit this that the cricket matches between India and Pakistan have somewhere helped to mend the tensed relations between the two countries.

Here are 5 Instances when Cricket proved to be a peace-maker between India and Pakistan:-

1). When Virat Kohli gifted his bat to Mohammad Amir

Virat Kohli was impressed by Amir’s skills and therefore when he found Amir practicing at Eden Gardens for the World T20 (2016) league match between India and Pakistan, he presented his bat to Amir and applauded his gameplay.

2). When Virendra Sehwag thrashed everyone who tried to mock Sarfaraz Ahmed for his poor English skills

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Criticizing Sarfaraz for not speaking English is insane.His job is to play&he has done brilliantly 2 take Pak in finals <a href="">#StopColonialMindset</a></p>— Virender Sehwag (@virendersehwag) <a href="">June 17, 2017</a></blockquote><script async src="" charset="utf-8"></script>

Pakistan team has often been criticized for their non-fluent English but when Sehwag saw that situation is getting ugly, he interrupted and shut everyone’s mouth with this one tweet. RESPECT!

3). When this legendary moment happened

So, everyone is aware of Sudhir Kumar Gautam and Chaudhry Abdul Jalil, who is touted to be the biggest fan of the sport. Now, when these two legends forgot the rivalry to pose together, it was a sheer sight to behold.

4). When Mohammad Hafeez was in awe of ‘THE WALL’

The two cricketers met each other on a flight to New Zealand, and Hafeez got his fan moment. He took to his twitter handle to shower praise on the legendary batsman – RAHUL DRAVID.

5). When Boom Boom Afridi received the sweetest goodbye ever!

When Shahid Afridi retired, Team India sent him a T-shirt signed by each and every player, the Tee had a text on it that read: "always a pleasure playing against you." SWEET!
