The much-awaited trailer of Rohit Shetty’s ‘Simbaa’ finally got released and to be honest, it looks like another masala mediocre film that will defy logic, physics and cinema ethics.

Ranveer Singh, who gave an atrocious performance in ‘Padmaavat’ (strictly my opinion), is going to end the year with this film and I am very sure that none of the cinephiles wanted 2018 to end on such a note.

So, the trailer starts off with Singham aka Ajay Devgn (Yes, he is there in a cameo because cashing on earlier hits is important) uttering some gibberish lines that introduce us to this rebel kinda kid ‘Bhalerao Simbaa’; the shot selection and frame composition look so cringy in this scene. Wait, let me vomit!

We get to know that this kid wants to be a police officer but not for serving the nation but to fill the pockets with a fuck load of money.

It is established that he is a corrupt asshole but then circumstances ask him to change his ethics and Ranveer Singh goes on a rampage to kick, box, punch and hit the fuck outta baddies.

There are eye-blinding colours and blaring noise that has caused me some severe headache.

It’s true that we should not judge a book by its cover but that thing is ruled out when the book is written by Rohit Shetty.

I loved the ‘Golmaal’ wala Rohit and desperately want him to return, his last few films have been an utter disappointment.

Also, I want to urge Rohit to watch Manto, Andhadhun or Badhaai Ho and then decide if we deserve this Simbaa or not?

Ps – Sara Ali Khan is also there, LOL! (watch the trailer to know why this LOL has been used)
