Sacred Games, and Mirzapur both really won the hearts of Indian audience with the story, characters, and especially the dialogues. The same genre series Rangbaaz has premiered on Zee5 on the 22nd of December. The show is about the real-life story of a gangster.

Saqib Saleem, who is the protagonist is playing the role of Shiv Prakash Shukla. The story is of 1990s, Shri Prakash Shukla a 25-year-old boy from Gorakhpur comes into the world of crime and becomes one of the most wanted criminals of that time in Uttar Pradesh. He used to work for the politicians, and did organized killing of people with a team of gangsters. A Special Task Force was formed by the state government of Uttar Pradesh just to track and catch him.

When it comes to comparing the series with Sacred Games and Mirzapur, they have not put inessential vulgar language in the series, the murder scenes are less brutal, and there are no unnecessary scenes. This story starts, and ends with this season only so one has not to wait for more seasons of it. The story starts innocent, becomes violent, and ends on an emotional note.

Coming to the other casts of Rangbaaz, Tigmanshu Dhulia famous for Gangs of Wasseypur plays a similar character of Ramshankar Tiwari, a corrupt politician. Ranvir Shorey plays the role of the lead cop Siddharth Pandey, Ravi Kishan of another criminal Chandrabhan Singh, and Aahana Kumra as Babita Sharma the girlfriend of Shiv Prakash Shukla. The whole cast did justice to their roles in the total 9 episodes. With an IMDb rating of 9.4/10, and love from the audience it has already attained the fame. If you are a fan of this genre, then you should definitely watch the series.
