While the whole Bollywood and country are celebrating the last eve of 2018, on the other hand, the latent of our country- Kader Khan was counting his last breathes. The reason for his death that his son Sarfaraz confirmed was due to prolonged illness at the age of 81 on 31st December.

Khan was admitted to a Hospital in Canada and his son confirmed that his last rites will be conducted in the country.

Kader Khan's son while confirming the news, broke down and said-

"My dad has left us. He passed away on December 31 at 6 pm as per the Canadian time due to prolonged illness. He slipped into the coma in the afternoon. He was in the hospital for 16-17 weeks.

The last rites will be performed here in Canada only. We have our entire family here and we live here so we are doing it,’” he added.

Further, he told that “We are thankful to everyone for their blessings and prayers,”.

The news of the actor-writer came out a day after his son confirmed to the media about his demise. And soon after that, the whole Bollywood prayed for him. Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, and other big stars twitted about this huge lost of the industry and also our Prime Minister Modi Ji twitted about the star’s decease.

The actor’s career was in his peak in the 1980s-90, he was born in Kabul and made his acting debut in 1973 with Rajesh Khanna’s “Daag” and has featured in over 300 films.

Along with acting, he enjoyed writing screenplays and dialogues. He wrote dialogues for over 250 movies and before debuting in the industry he had written the dialogues for “Jawani Diwani” Randhir Kapoor and Jaya Bachchan's film.

Industry and the whole country will miss Kader Khan, and salute for his great humor and talent.
