We know that you suffer from a very hectic schedule where you run out of balance between your work and your personal life, especially if you’re into a private firm. You bump into dilemmas where you have to choose between work and your life other than work. Just a little bit of mental stability would help you get hold of the correct decision in life:
Don’t run after being a perfectionist
The key to avoiding bursting out is to let go of perfectionism, says Puder-York. “As life gets more expanded it’s very hard, both neurologically and psychologically, to keep that habit of perfection going,” she says, adding further that the only way to lead a healthy life is to not strive for perfectionism but excellence.
Forget About Your Phones
“There are times when you should just shut your phone off and enjoy the moment,” says Robert Brooks, a professor of psychology at Harvard Medical School and co-author of The Power of Resilience: Achieving Balance, Confidence and Personal Strength in Your Life. He says that phones send an undercurrent of stress every time you check it. Don’t let calls and notifications from work interfere in your personal life.
Medication and Exercise is the key
“When I talk about balance, not everything has to be the completion and achievement of a task, it also has to include self-care so that your body, mind, and soul are being refreshed,” says Puder-York. Devote some time to self-care, for gaining peace and prosperity in your inner self.
Stop wasting your time
Try limiting your time with things that are of no use. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter won’t really bring you joy in the longer run, so invest that time on learning something new, to your cultural hobbies or spend that time with your family that gives you the true joy and brings happiness from within.
