We always check out the beautiful places to visit where the sun sets in a pretty way, the snow falls, the weather is good, and the view is bliss. But have you ever considered going to a place which is so strange that one won’t ever feel like going there? Here are a few places like that.

• Darwaza gas crater

This place is also known as the “Door to Hell” or “Gates of Hell” situated in Derweze, Turkmenistan. It was discovered in the year 1971, and has been burning since then. This place was a natural gas field that collapsed into a cavern (98 ft. deep with 226 ft. diameter), so it had been set on fire by the Geologists to prevent the Methane gas from spreading out.

• Lake Natron

This lake is situated in the northern Tanzania, at the border with Kenya. It is a mineral-rich soda lake, that through calcification turns the dead animal into statues. The salty behaviour and the temperature of the lake that goes up to 140 degrees Fahrenheit is what kills the animals in it. Those statues are really weird to look at; I mean they were once real WTH! Can you even think of taking a dip in it?

• Blood Falls

This creepy place is in Antarctica; it’s not actually blood but the colour of the water gets the same due to the vast amount of Iron in it and that makes it look horrendous. One can feel like it’s a fall of blood. As it’s amidst the ice covered place so the colour is more contrast, and one can see it from a far sighted place.

These are the few weird places that you should think a thousand times before planning to go, and then also you might cancel it.
