The success of an organisation does not depend on one individual no matter how much hard working or dedicated he/she is towards the work. It is impossible for one individual to handle all the responsibilities alone. He/she needs a team and it is the teamwork which will ultimately help in achieving the desired goal.
So a team leader really needs to carefully remember these things in mind if he/she wants his team to excel.
1. I CAN DO EVERYTHING
A team leader should never have this thought in mind it is he/ she who knows everything and all the people under him are a mere puppet. If he tries to takes all the work credit for the performance of the team his team can never ever excel. It is really important that every person gets due credit for the work done in a team. This helps to keep them motivated for work and excel in work.
2. IT IS IMPORTANT TO GIVE THEM SPACE
A lot of times a team leader tries to dominate all the team members of his team. He tries to interfere in their work but he needs to remember one thing in mind that everyone on the team needs their personal space and creative freedom to work and if they are not getting that they would not be able to work in the best possible way.
3. BALANCE IN ATTITUDE
A team leader needs to be sensitive in his approach while dealing with his team members but when it comes to taking outwork a team leader cannot always be soft-hearted in his approach because it would actually show his weak side. He needs to understand this thing that he needs to have a balance between being emotional and being a little harsh.
