Indian Cricket team wrote history under the influencing leadership of Virat Kohli. The young brigade defeated Aussies on their ground by 2-1 and won the crucial Test series. Captain Kohli has termed this win as his ‘biggest achievement’. Players like Bumrah and Pant played a vital role in fetching the trophy to the Indian side.

Talking about the victory, Kohli commented: “I wish Tim and the management all the very best. We all deserve to enjoy. Celebrations are going to run long into the night I can assure you. Now we’ve got no more Test cricket and no more alarms in the morning. Crowds have been outstanding. They’ve never let us feel we are playing away from home. They’ve come in numbers in every stadium.”

Virat was also asked if this win will play a big role in shaping the Indian cricket future, he said: “Definitely, this is just the stepping stone for us. The average age in the team is quite low. The most important thing for us has been belief. Our intent has always been good, and that is to take Indian cricket forward. Australia are always going to be a very competitive side. Every team goes through a transition.”

India had won the first test by 31 runs but then Australia bounced back and defeated the Indian side by a mammoth 147 runs. Indian team came back stronger and knocked the kangaroos out of the ring by defeating them by 137 runs. Interestingly, India won a Test series in Australia after 72 years.
