Actor Vicky Kaushal is currently in the golden phase of his career, after having a bombastic 2018, he is all set to enthrall us with his army man persona in the upcoming film URI. The film is based on the 2016’s surgical strike operation conducted by the Indian army on the Pakistan forces.
Recently, Vicky was asked to comment on the film, the Masaan actor said: "When we come to people who are securing us, they can be attacked so mercilessly. When they are sleeping in their tents unarmed, that's when they got attacked and it's just an episode where the army took a stand that it won't be taken down silently. And they did a surgical strike in ten days with official planning and it was the most covertly performed operations and at the same time, it's something we all are proud of."
The film’s trailer and songs are getting a lot of praise on social media and people love Vicky’s rough look in the film. The action scenes look really synchronised and the film is expected to give an adequate amount of thrills to the audience.
Vicky showered praise on the film and commented: "Even the youth knows what happened, so do the elders. It just happened two years back and we all saw it on TVs or read it in newspapers and we were affected by it. This film just shows what happened behind the closed doors and how it all happened, how it all took place, all teams came together and all of that. That's Uri for you."
The film is all set to hit the theatres on January 11, 2019.
