China is a land of creative juices, be it their brawny martial art forms, exotic music or ever-growing technology; the Chinese never disappointed. Nowadays, winters have wrapped the globe and the best way to celebrate this chilly season came from the Chinese counterpart.
To celebrate the arrival of mesmerizing snow and ice, China has been celebrating The Harbin ice festival since the 1980s. And just like every year, this festival has attracted a major flock of tourists, the fest that began on Jan 5 will continue till Feb 5. We’d also like to mention that this is the world's largest ice and snow festival.
The 30 days fest began with sparkling fireworks amidst the bright white ice-field. The picture looks straight outta Disney film.
The entrance is giving us some major GOT: Ice and Fire feels. We have not been to the place and yet it calms my soul like anything.
And here it is, the place that is an exact replica of Narnia, it is like someone took my dream and painted it out on a canvas. I am already getting this starvation of visiting this wonderland to become the Alice of my life. And, boy look at those glowing snow structures, the light just amplifies the beauty of the place, doesn’t it?
The castles one would leave everything for, my eyes are thanking me to give them such a treat.
And let us end our virtual tour with this aerial picture. Also, book your next flight to China right away!
