If there is someone who loves you, cares for you, irritates you, fights with you as no one can do is our siblings. Having siblings in life is a blessing indeed and if you too have them you would feel lucky enough to have something precious in life.
But one-minute wait, everything is not as rosy. There is another side to it. If you have siblings there are some little compromises that you have to make in the life, you want it or not and how much you refrain from accepting things your parents ask you to do is altogether a different story.
So here are some of the things that you would definitely relate to if you have siblings too.
1. Adjustments in clothes, toys......
If you are younger and have elder brother and sister then you have to wear their clothes. Why? Just because you are younger you don't have the right to spend your childhood in new clothes. Yes, exactly you got it right it is your fault if you are born late and considers it as a legacy or whatever you want but you have to adjust in your siblings' clothes no matter how much loose are they and how much you look funny wearing them.
But parents really need to understand this thing that it can cause jealousy among the siblings and in a more bitter case possibility of having a rivalry is also common.
2. THAT COMPARISON...
If you have an elder sibling who excels in academics or for that matter anything then remember things has turned automatically bitter for you. How? The answer is very simple. Your parents will actually leave no stone unturned to compare yourself with your siblings and hearing dialogues like' 'Apne Bhai/behan ko dekh'. From marks, in class 1 to 10, you would be shown reports with reference to your siblings and you really cannot do anything how much you hate it.
However, parents need to really be very careful in whatever they say to the kids because it can have a negative impact on their minds which can hamper the growth of the kid.
So it is really very important that every sibling gets special attention and treatment and the time when kids really do not understand things is the very crucial time when parents need to be little more attentive.
