Emraan Hashmi’s upcoming film ‘Why Cheat India’ has been creating a lot of fuss. Directed by Soumik Sen, the film is all set to hit the theatres on January 18 and recently, the film became a centre of attraction when the film’s title was changed when CBFC intervened. In protest of which, Emraan went ahead and changed his Twitter handle’s name from Emraan Hashmi to WHY Emraan Hashmi.
In a recent interview, the actor opened up about the kissing scene in the movie and how he never wanted to do it but had to, he said: “Me and my director were clear that the film will not feature a kissing scene but it was the producers, who wanted him to shoot it to show the “chemistry between the boy and the girl”. I resisted it but it came down to threats and we shot it as the last scene of the film.”
He also said that he is trying to shed his ‘Serial Kisser’ image, he said: “Perhaps, I will not have a kiss in the next one; no wait, that has one too. So, perhaps in the one after that. However, I had 10 kisses in my first film and one in my upcoming film, so that is progress according to me.”
The exciting thriller that tells the cheating scams that happened within the Indian education system is all set to release this week and Emraan is all pumped up for the release. He says that people will definitely like this film as its unique and fresh.
