The 2016 released Oscar winning movie Zootopia is the seventh-highest-grossing animated movie ever. The story revolves around the city of Zootopia where all kind of animals live, the protagonist being a rabbit Judy Hopps who wishes to become a police officer but has been working as a parking duty officer in the city. The rabbit with a con artist fox Nick Wilde has to unravel the mystery of the 14 missing predators. The movie was a fun and thrilling ride, and had been loved by the audience.

The love from the audience that it got was not only because of the story, the characters, or the music but also because of how beautiful the city of Zootopia has been shown in the movie. Well, that has led to the Disney Resort, Shanghai announcing the expansion of its theme park for the Zootopia-themed land. The characters of the movie could be brought to life as from the reports chances are that the protagonists of the movie that is Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde would be interacting with the people. The story-telling, the city view, the characters, the food of one of the best Disney movies would be a lot of fun and people are going crazy over it already.

Disney said, “The new themed land will invite guests to fully immerse themselves in the mammalian metropolis of ‘Zootopia,’ ‘where anyone can be anything,’ and come along on an adventure with Judy and Nick, the lead characters from the hit, Academy Award-winning animated movie. With a brand-new attraction, entertainment, merchandise, and food and beverage offerings, the new land will provide guests with even more to experience and enjoy at Shanghai Disneyland than ever before.”

The construction of the Zootopia-themed land would be starting this year only at Shanghai Disneyland.
