The game has been developed by Avalanche Studios, the studio that has come up with games like Madmax, Just Cause Series, Rage, and Rage 2 (to be released). Generation Zero is an open world shooter game in which you can play solo, or you can team up with your friends (limited to 3) for the battle with the killer robots. The game goes on in 1980s Sweden; day and night cycle, and has the weather changing cinematics with the 1980’s soundtrack background as well.
The strategy of the game has similarities with PUBG and Fortnite like you can kill and loot the opponents as well as revive your teammates when they are knocked out. The minimum requirements for the game are 64-bit OS, Intel i5 with 8 GB of RAM, Nvidia GTX 660 / ATI HD7870 with 2GB VRAM / Intel Iris Pro Graphics 580 and 35GB of space.
The game is set to release on 26th of March, 2019. The game has been looking interesting from the day the studio started working on it, and now we have to wait for a couple of months to know the actual gameplay. The game will be available for Xbox One, PS4, and PC, and will release for all of these platforms on the same date. It will come up with two editions, Standard Edition $39.99 USD for console, and $34.99 USD for PC and the other edition Collector’s Edition is available at $79.99 USD which comes with a premium steel book case, a cloth map of the game world, a t-shirt, and a unique Generation Zero take on the traditional dala horse statue.
The studio that developed the game, Avalanche said “ All enemies are persistently simulated in the world and roam the landscape with intent and purpose. When you manage to destroy a specific enemy component, be it armor, weapons or sensory equipment, the damage is permanent. Enemies will bear those scars until you face them again, whether that is minutes, hours or weeks later.”
