When last year, OnePlus phone makers launched the highly advanced OnePlus 6T, people fell in love with the gadget. The machine provided the users with an in-display fingerprint scanner, waterdrop notch, and most importantly a heavy 3,700mAh battery that ensured a good battery supply. Initially, the users were happy with the performance but from the past few days, users are facing some serious problems with the battery life.

The users are going over social media platform Reddit to kill their frustration over the issue. Some users claimed that the battery life has been reduced to half while others suggested that the phone’s battery is showing irregular symptoms. Another one forced on the point that he used to get a screen-on time of about 6-7 hours, however, over the past couple of days, it has been cut down to about 4 hours. The users also mentioned that they have, indeed, tried everything from restricting background apps, clearing cache and updating the phone to the latest software but nothing helped at all. The tech team of OnePlus went ahead to resolve the issue but the bug that is causing so much havoc is still unknown.

If this was not enough, people also complained that the phone is getting extremely hot even after minimal use. The makers of the powerful and very popular phone are putting in everything to resolve the issue. The company has not come out with a statement, as of now and everyone waits to see what the Giants have to say.

Until then, people are suggesting that ‘factory reset’ is the only option that can give you some relief from the problem.
