Oats are light and easy to have, even in the busy mornings. Oats contain both soluble and insoluble fibers that fulfill your daily fiber intake. This is what makes this cereal a game changer in the world when you need to lose weight, as it increases satiety without piling on the calories and can easily be consumed in different varieties.

Let us see 5 ways in which you can add oatmeal to your daily diet to lose weight:

1. Oats porridge

Ingredients you need:
• 4 tablespoons of oats
• Half a cup of milk
• 1 teaspoon of ground flaxseeds or chia seeds
• 1 teaspoon of coconut sugar

Preparation: Boil water, and then add some milk to it, seeds and coconut sugar. Now add oats to the liquid mixture and bring it to boil and cook until porridge doesn’t get its proper thickness.

2. Overnight Oats

Ingredients you need:
• 4 tablespoons of raw, uncooked oats
• 2 teaspoons of chia seeds
• Half a cup of yogurt
• 4 roasted almonds
• 1 teaspoon of dark chocolate chips
• 2 teaspoons of peanut butter

Preparation: Take a jar and mix all the ingredients together and keep it in the refrigerator overnight to get the instant breakfast in the next morning.

3. Smoothie:

Ingredients you need:
• 2 tablespoons of oats
• 200 grams of the fruit of choice (berries are best)
• Half a cup of yogurt

Preparation: It is the easiest recipe from all, takes a jar put all the ingredients in it and blend them all. The smoothie that looks so good and tastes even better.

4. Oats Roti:

Ingredients you need:
• The half cup of whole wheat flour
• The half cup of oat flour

Preparation: Mix the whole wheat with oat flour in equal ratio, making a regular dough cook hot chapatis and have them with vegetables. These chapatis are rich in fiber and will make your mouth filled with water.

5. Oats Upma:

Not only with Suji/rava, but you can also make upma with oats too.
Ingredients you need:
• Sautéed veggies (carrots, beans, and spinach)
• Oats
• 150 ml of buttermilk

Preparation: Mix all the cook the ingredients together to form a semi-liquid upma that is filling and easy for the stomach as well.
