There are a number of actors in Bollywood, some are superstars and some have vanished only after a few films. But from the list of actors who have made it to Bollywood, few have stayed there strong like Sushant Singh Rajput. He was born in the city of Patna, Bihar, and his father was a government officer. He was very good in studies, secured All India Rank of 7 in AIEEE and got into DTU.

He was doing mechanical engineering from the college when he dropped out in his third year and showed his interest in the industry where his passion was. He joined Shiamak Davar’s dance classes, and started his career in the industry as a background dancer. The choreographer asked him to do the theatre. The actor said “I never wanted to be an actor. Ten years ago, becoming an actor was as unlikely as becoming an astronaut or a Prime Minister."

From the auditions, he got his first television show Pavitra Rishta, and the show did quite well as people were loving it and had a lot of audience. The actor had bigger dreams in his eyes, so he left the show, and tried his luck in Bollywood where he got his first movie Kai Po Che. The movie was highly appraised, and the actor also came in the limelight. "I still remember my struggling phase when I shared a one-room-kitchen apartment with six other roommates and those bitter days when I used to throng among the extras whole day waiting to get a small role", the actor said.

After that, the actor has been seen doing a lot of hard work for the movies that did good at the box-office and even was praised a lot by the audience Detective Byomkesh Bakshy!, M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story, and Kedarnath but still he has not been able to come in the list of top actors, as he has been underrated the whole time. Let us see how the actor comes up with the coming years, but he has the capability. Sushant said, “You have to be sure of what you want. You have to keep thinking that you will survive, no matter what.”
