Imagine the supremacy of a frame or event when G.O.A.T (s) of two different arenas come together, getting all the bombastic feels, eh?
Something like this happened when King Kohli met the Tennis wonder Roger Federer at the Australian Open in Melbourne. Federer, who is currently eyeing for the seventh win at Australian Open was stopped in tracks by Stefanos Tsitsipas which gave him some time to mingle up with Indian skipper who was one of the guests at the Melbourne Park.
Kohli was very elated on meeting Roger, he said: “It was amazing. I’ve met him a couple of times before and the fact that he remembered me was crazy. He told me he met me in Sydney a few years back when he was playing an exhibition match and I was like, ‘Wow, he remembers me!’ I can’t explain that feeling. I’ve watched him play since I was a child. He’s a great tennis player but also a great man and a great human being.”
Kohli mentioned that they both talked about sports and its branches, he told: “He kept asking me questions, we were talking about mindsets in sport, how he prepares, what he thinks about his sport. It was a beautiful, beautiful time.”
On the work front, Kohli just led the Indian team on winning banks in the crucial Australia tour. He took some time out of schedule and has been resting for the New Zealand series. He is spending some quality time with his beloved wife Anushka Sharma in the fine land of Australia.
