The move is slow and very predictable. However, the most attractive thing about the movie is the theme it is based on. This is the first love story made in Bollywood on the LGBTQ Community.
The binding factors in the movie are Anil Kapoor and Raj Kumar Rao along with some other amazing supporting actors. This is definitely not the best of roles that they have done in the past but they surely did justice to what the role required.
The movie is set in Moga (a village in Punjab) and the story revolves around the character Sweety played by Sonam Kapoor and her family who wants her to get married. The first half of the film is mostly about introducing characters and how they get connected. The unexpected revelation happens right before the interval that Sweety is a lesbian, which further explains the title of the movie.
The actual struggle of Sweety unfolds after the interval when she along with Sahil (Raj Kumar Rao) plan to tell her story to the village.

How Rajkumar Rao holds the move
Anil Kapoor’s acting

Negative Points-
Predictable storyline
Sonam Kapoor’s acting could have been better.
On an on it is a fresh film with a different plot and a good star cast. It is recommended.
