The most awaited movie of the year 2019, Avengers: End Game is all set to release on the 26th of April. The test screenings have already started, right now it has been screened for four different audiences. The movie is expected to be 3-hour long, and they are even considering to add an intermission to it. That means End Game could be the longest MCU movie till date. As per the directors, the shooting is done and only the editing part has to be worked upon.
The movie is a culmination of 22 movies, so there has a lot to be worked on the storytelling. Anthony Russo said, “I think the studio is down with what the best story is. We have screened the movie four times for audiences now. For the first three screenings, not a single person got up to go to the bathroom." That really says a lot about how the movie holds the audience with the story being so gripping. The expectations are very high, and the team must have worked hard upon it accordingly, to give justice to the Avengers series.
The director said "I think the studio is down with what the best story is. Right now, we think the movie is playing well and we’ve had great responses from our test audiences and we’re feeling very good about where it is. We’re still doing work to it. We’re not done with it. Again, this is a culmination film of 22 movies, it’s a lot of storytelling to work into it. Emotion is an intrinsic part of that to us. When you have to tell a really complicated story and you want strong emotional moments with the characters, it just requires a certain amount of real estate. This one, in particular, feels like three hours’ worth of real estate"
