It was a distressful day for India as 44 Bravehearts got killed in a menacing terror attack that took place in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district on the 14th of February. Reportedly, a bus filled with 350KG explosives went ahead and collided with the caravan of CRPF and that’s how the attack came in action.
Terrorist organisation Jaish-e- Mohammed took the responsibility of the attack and named 20-year-old Adil Ahmad Dar as the suicide bomber who drove the truck and collided with the CRPF jawans. Adil Ahmad Dar was a resident of Gundibagh village in Pulwama district of South Kashmir and he was employed at a sawmill until 19th of March, 2018, when he left the home to walk on the path of militancy.
Adil’s parents did file a report but the efforts went in vain as, after few days, a picture of the young boy holding an AK 47 with name tag 'Waqas Commando' started surfacing on the internet, which gave everyone a hint that the boy has got enrolled in militancy. Reports state that the boy was also spotted with Hizbul Mujahideen and Lashkar-e-Taiba. Adil’s father says: “After leaving home, he met us only once. His cousin was a militant, who was killed just 11 days after joining them.”
Adil had also taken part in the cruel stone pelting activity that happened in 2016 post the killing of Burhan Wani. People are demanding immediate action and declare a war with the neighbouring country Pakistan, who is alleged to give shelter to these terrorist organisations.
