Legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar has finally come forward to react on Sourav Ganguly ’s comments on India-Pakistan World Cup tie, he wrote on Twitter: "Never felt the need for you to justify. Strongly believe that all of us want what’s best for our nation.”

Reportedly, Ganguly had made a comment supporting people who wanted to cut all the cricket related ties with Pakistan after the deadly Pulwama attack. He had also given a statement mentioning Sachin, he had said: "He [Sachin Tendulkar] wants two points against Pakistan, I want the World Cup. Whichever way you look at it."

Media went ahead to create differences between Ganguly and Sachin and that is when Sachin came to clarify. Even Ganguly clarified his part, he said: "A lot of people in the media is trying to put my statement against sachin s when I said I want the World Cup My response has got nothing to do with his statement, nor is my statement against his .. he is, has been and will be one of my best friends for last 25 years."

Interestingly, India and Pakistan are at war again and IAF recently demolished 300 terrorists by doing the deadly air strikes. Now, one waits to see if India and Pakistan’s awaited World Cup match will happen or not.
