Bollywood big shot Karan Johar is all set to return to the director’s seat with his historical drama ‘Takht’, that boasts of a stellar cast including the likes of Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt as well. So, Kareena Kapoor Khan who is playing a pivotal role in the film is going under a dialect training program for the historical drama.
Talking about the same, Kareena said: "It's a different film because I've not really done a period film like this. There will be a certain amount of dialect preparation, look tests that will happen. I'm also working with Karan after a very long time so I'm very excited."

The actress also mentioned that Karan’s craft as a filmmaker has certainly evolved over years and she is very much excited to start shooting with him once again. Interestingly, Kareena and Karan worked together for the first time in ‘Kabhi Khusi Kabhi Gham’. This will be the second time that the two will collaborate for a project.

Kareena mentioned: "Hopefully it'll be a part which will be remembered because it's socially relevant. It's a strong character. The best part is it'll be completely different than what I did in 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham' as Poo."

Meanwhile, Kareena is busy prepping for the release of her next titled ‘Good News’, where she shares the screen with Akshay Kumar, Diljit and Kiara Advani.
