1. The Sacred Mantra- OM NAMAH SHIVAY
According to the scripture Tirumantiram, “His feet are the letter Na. His navel is the letter Ma. His shoulders are the letter Śi. His mouth, the letter Vā. His radiant cranial centre aloft is Ya. This is the five-lettered form of Shiva.” This mantra has a reference in Yajurveda and the practice of chanting the mantra 108 times is considered very auspicious.
2. The third eye of Lord Shiva
Lord Shiva has 3 eyes. The sun is considered the right eye, moon the left eye whereas the eye of wisdom is considered the third eye of Lord Shiva which has the ability to look beyond the obvious.
