It was 2008 when Vince Gilligan decided to bring us one of the most addictive shows ever made in history, ‘BREAKING BAD’. Yes, the show did not gain much popularity in its initial phase but as the time passed by and the word of mouth flourished; Breaking Bad became one of the most loved shows of all time. The show currently enjoys a good rating of 9.5 on IMDB and has often been listed in ‘the greatest shows ever’ lists.
So, all you ‘Walter White’ and ‘Jesse Pinkman’ obsessives, here are some ‘METHaculous’ facts about this raging phenomenon known as ‘Breaking Bad’:-

1). Samarium is an element with atomic number 62, the isotope of which is used to treat ‘Lung Cancer’. Interestingly, Walter suffered from the same disease in the show and the show ran for exactly 62 episodes only.

2). Jesse Pinkman was destined to be killed in season 1 itself but the makers decided to shelve the plan because Aaron Paul played the character with so much conviction that his character created a separate fan base for himself.

3). Julia Minesci, who played the role of Wendy in the show, performed the character of a prostitute with so much sincerity that once she was approached by a non-actor for some ‘services’.

4). Both Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul have Breaking Bad-inspired tattoos to memorialize their time on the show. Bryan has got ‘BrBa’ tattooed while Aaron has got ‘No Half Measures’ tattooed.

5). The finale of the show was titled ‘Felina’, which is actually atomic elements: ‘Fe’, ‘Li’ and ‘Na’, which when looked upon closely literally translate to Blood, meth and tears.
