We all know that bees are very important for the environment as they help many plants and animals species by pollination. They are a great carrier for the plant spices and help male plants to exchange transfer their pollen grain to the female stigma to give birth to the next generation.

“More than 20,000 bee species around the world are the most important group of pollinators for farming and wild plants,” a representative from The Honeybee Conservancy We can thank bees for such delicious produce as potatoes, tangerines, apples and so, so much more! One in three mouthfuls of food we eat benefits from bee pollination the representative added.

Unfortunately, as much as these bees are important to our ecosystem, there has been increasing worry about their number and what it means to our future. “Populations are declining due to a variety of factors including human development, pesticides, disease, and a changing climate,” The Honeybee Conservancy representative explained.

We have listed some of the steps for you through which you can help bees to survive:

Protect Bees’ Habitat:

As we know that we get honey from a beehive and they make their home with nectar extracting from the flower. So we can help them in a way by planting more trees, by creating more gardens, green areas, and habitat corridors. If you think that the large areas then you are wrong. Instead, we can plant flowers and nectar reach wildflowers of our balconies, on roads and on the street corner.

Avoid Harmful Pesticide:

In respect of growing crops before their actual time to get mature, farmers are using more harmful pesticides with respect to which bees are dying while extracting nectar or pollinating. “Avoid chemicals belonging to the neonicotinoid family at all costs, as they are especially harmful to bees” The Honeybee Conservancy page notes.

Create Bee Bath

Pour a shallow dish with clean water, add some pebbles and fresh colorful flowers to attract the bees for taking a break from their hard work so that they can drink and take bath.
