With the 12th edition of Indian Premier Leauge on the cards, the players have got into the business molding themselves into match winners for their team. One of these players is veteran Yuvraj Singh, who this year will play for his new franchise Mumbai Indians. The southpaw was spotted sharpening his skills in the nets and also trying something new, reportedly, the famous helicopter shot of former skipper MS Dhoni.

The player once acquired for a whopping 16 crores by Delhi Daredevils back in 2015 was acquired by Mumbai in the IPL 2019 auction after he was released by Kings XI Punjab. Yuvi is aiming to leave an impact in the 2019 edition of the game.

Moreover, besides preparing for the IPL, he has also been playing for Punjab in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. He featured in four T20 matches but wasn't able to leave an impact. Yuvraj could only manage scores of 6, 7, 34 and 26. Such stats will surely worry the southpaw who already had a dismal IPL 2018 campaign for KXIP.

"I didn't have a great IPL last year. I am really looking forward to this one because I want to go all guns blazing and I am working hard towards it," Yuvraj had stated earlier.

It would be interesting to see if he will make it to the playing XI for Mumbai or would watch the game from the pavilion; for Mumbai has forever had a well-balanced team to help them win the game. It will take blood and sweat for Yuvraj to prove himself and show that even at 37, he has this ability to take his team home.
