1. Mauritius


If you are going to be an expatriate living in Mauritius, then language will not be a barrier for you because people living in Mauritius knows Hindi and can understand the language well. Mauritius has no official language contrary to popular beliefs. English is used officially in Parliamentary debates and French is also taught in the school.

2. FIJI


Fiji, a country in the South Pacific, has 3 official languages and Hindi is one of them. About 37% of the population comprises of Indians who speak FIJI Hindi known as Hindustani. The language is used in parliamentary debates as well, unlike India where people consider it embarrassing to speak the Hindi language.

3. SURINAME


It is the smallest city in South America. Surinamese Hindi or Sarnami, a dialect of Bhojpuri is the third most used language in this country which originated from the migrant workers who settled in the country during the early 20th century.

4. GUYANA


Indo-Guyanese are the largest ethnic group in Guyana which is about 40% of Guyana’s population. Though English is the official language, ethnic groups speak Indian- Aryan language in Guyana.

5. NEPAL


The official language of Nepal is Nepali but the Hindi dialects (Maithili, Bhojpuri, Bajjika) are some of the popular languages of Nepal.
