Film’s producer Sandip Singh also talked about the film and said: "We are bringing this film a week early on public demand. There is a lot of love and anticipation among the people and we don't want them to wait longer. This is a story of 1.3 billion people and I can't wait to show it to them.”
Reportedly, the poster was scheduled to be released earlier but it was postponed because of an untimely death of former Goa CM Manohar Parikar. He died at the age of 63. The makers of the film had given this information to everyone, they had said: "We are extremely sorry to inform that the poster launch of our film 'PM Narendra Modi', which was scheduled for March 18, 10.30 am, has been postponed due to the death of Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar. Our heartfelt condolences to his family in this time of grief. Rest in peace."
Interestingly, ‘Modi’ biopic is releasing days before elections so people are speculating if it’s propaganda by the ruling party BJP to win Elections 2019. The film is also touted special as Vivek will be essaying as many as 9 looks for the film. The film is directed by ‘Mary Kom’ fame Omung Kumar and is all set to release on 5th April 2019.
