As we all are different and have different preferences, similarly all of us take care of our skin in different ways. Most us go to the parlor for getting that dead skin and unwanted blackheads out and some use a natural face mask and home-made products to get rid of blemishes, under-eye dark circles and so on for long term results. But what if you have to go party tonight or to a wedding in a couple of days? This is the reason why we buy makeup products to hide the blemishes and get that flawless, crystal-clear skin.

Foundation is best to prepare the base for further makeup and it also gives clear skin. Foundation hides all the blemishes, dark circles, pimples, dark spots, and fine lines. In the market today, you can find a lot of foundation such as cream-based, compact ones, liquid foundation, serum foundation, foundations with SPF and without SPF and mouse foundation.

But my personal favorite is a cream-based one! Because the cream based foundation is super easy to apply, even its small amount is enough to give your face a full coverage. The cream-based foundation never look cakey or patchy on the skin. It has a thicker concentration and feels light on the face.

How to apply the cream-based foundation?

#1 Before applying a cream-based foundation, you need to first clean your face properly, apply toner and then moisturizer followed by the primer. Using primer is very important before applying foundation, as it makes sure longer stay of the foundation on our face.
#2 Now, apply the foundation, as per the coverage your face required.

#3 Blending of the foundation matters a lot. So if you want full coverage, use a flat foundation brush, and if you want light coverage for a no-makeup look, use a stippling brush.
#4 After applying it on your face, start blending from the center and take it outwards, that is from the sides of your nose and then extend it to the cheeks and jawline.

#5 For the areas where your face needs more coverage such scars or acne, dab the brush on it instead of using strokes.
#6 If you are not comfortable with a brush, you can also use a sponge or a beauty blender. Let your foundation sit for a minute, meanwhile, you can do your eyebrows.
