The first largest and research-friendly underwater restaurant- Under is breathtakingly beautiful. The restaurant is the first underwater restaurant to accommodate 100 guests for having food in. Along with tasty and stylish food, you can take the pleasure of seeing marine life through the glass walls of the restaurant without getting wet or knowing scuba diving.

It is the first of its kind in Europe, and it also functions as a research center for marine life. If you want to take your partner for a date in this Norway-based restaurant then you have to book the table in advance 6 months before, so make sure you both are going to be with each at least for six months.

Having one time meal in the restaurant is not-so pocket-friendly, being one of the costly restaurants still people adding the place in their Norway travel destination list.

In Norway ‘Under’ means both below and wonder. Half-sunken into the sea, the building 111-foot long monolithic form breaks the surface of the water to rest on the seabed. After entering into its ambiance taking a step further you will find yourself into the marine life.

The structure of the restaurant if fully integrated into its marine environment, as the roughened of the concrete shell will function as an artificial reef to welcome limpets and kelp to inhabit it.

The interior of the restaurant is so amazing that you don’t want to go home once you enter it. It thick concrete walls allow it to withstand pressure and shock from the rugged sea conditions and like a sunken periscope, the restaurant’s massive panoramic window offers the great view of the seabed as it changes throughout the seasons and carrying weather conditions.
