Money can create wondrous things and there is no denying in that. Yusuff Ali is an Indian billionaire who just made this statement true. The man who hails from Kerela leads the LuLu Group International recently transformed the Scotland Yard into a 5 star luxury hotel and the amount he spent in giving the yard a makeover is a freaking £75 million.
The lavish hotel is equipped with 153 grand rooms and if you ever wish to spend a night here, be ready to shed around £10,000 a night. Oh, by the way, this amount will be totally worth it as the windows of the rooms will open to aesthetic views of Westminster Abbey, Nelson's Column and Buckingham Palace. The prisoners who stayed at the Yard created some illustrative artworks and these artworks have been retained in the makeover to give this place some nostalgic value. The hotel also embraces a chandelier made of glass ruins that pays homage to the 19th-century gang of female robbers, the Forty Elephants.
And the grandeur doesn’t stop here, it continues with the presence of a luxurious whiskey bar, spa centres and an opulent ballroom as well. The place oozes luxury in all true sense and it will be handled by the Hyatt Group Of Hotels. Definitely the next destination on the checklist of all the Oberois, Malhotras and Singhanias.
I am really getting this urge to shout so I will: ‘Paise Ka Khel Baabu Bhaiyya, Paise Ka Khel”
