Chennai Super Kings captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni became the first Indian to score 200 sixes in the IPL.He achieved this feat in the match played against the Royal Challengers Bangalore on Sunday. In whole IPL tournament, Dhoni has played 184 matches in which he has hit 203 sixes.Dhoni also completed 4000 runs as the captain during an innings of 84 not out. He is the first captain to reach this figure. Dhoni has captained in 166 matches, in which he scored 4040 runs.
HRIS GAYLE, THE ONLY BATSMAN TO SCORE 300 SIXESDhoni is third in the list of most six-wicket-takers. Chris Gayle of Kings XI Punjab scored 323 runs in 121 matches and AB de Villiers of Bangalore has scored 204 sixes in 150 matches.Dhoni remained unbeaten against Bengaluru. This is his fourth innings in the run chase, in spite of being unbeaten, the team had to face defeat. Last year, in 2018, he scored 79 runs against 44 balls, but Chennai lost.
Dhoni has so far captained 168 matches. They won them in 101, faced defeats in 65 matches and in 1 match the result did not come.He is the first captain to win 100 matches in this tournament. As captain of Chennai, he has won 96 matches in 154 matches. He has also captained Pune Super Giants in 14 matches.
