There was a professor in my college who always used to appreciate the students and even made us clap when someone was looking good. At that moment we all felt it was dam weird and a tactic to flatter the students but it isn’t actually. How many of us really do that?

Remember the last time when you said to someone ‘Today you are looking good. I guess very few of us do that. It’s just not about giving a compliment to someone but rather appreciating something which is worth that praise. Leave that instead of appreciating we envy the person who is good at something. As there are a saying people who say a lot about you, it means that they envy that thing about you which they certainly they don’t have.

We all take to grant our mothers, wives. Why do you think housewives don’t take pride in their work because we hardly appreciate their work? When our mothers make a single mistake we never stop complaining but how many times do we tell her when she makes tasty food for us? Not just her we hardly appreciate anyone around us.

When was the last time you complimented something for their work or when was the last time we said ‘Thank you’ to someone’? Do we even remember that? I don’t think so.

We all have forgotten the basics of life to the extent that even someone does that we have this thought in mind maybe they would want something from us which obviously isn’t good for us.

Thus, next time when you liked something or someone does tell them. It will make you feel really good.
