It is time for the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections and the promotion for the same is at its full pace. The elections have been scheduled in 7 phases for different constituencies and date of counting is due on 23 May 2019. On 29 April 2019 the 4th phase of the election in 9 states and 21 constituencies wherein citizens along with celebrities tuned out in numbers to vote.

All the big stars from Amitabh Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra to Anil Ambani went out to the polling booth to contribute their part in making the world a better place. Reliance Group chairman Anil Ambani voted at GD Somani School in Cuffe Parade area soon after polling as the fourth phase began at 7 am.

The early voters also include Anand Mahindra, chairman of Mahindra Group, Tata Sons chairman N Chandrasekaran, Adi Godrej, and RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das.

The Quantico actress Priyanka Chopra tweeted “Every vote is a voice that counts,” after she cast her vote.

The Dhak Dhak girl also took an errand to the polling booth in Juhu and urged citizens to vote wisely.

Actor Aamir Khan, along with his wife and filmmaker Kiran Rao, visited the polling booth at St. Anne’s High School in Bandra just before 10 am. “It’s an extremely important day for all of us. It is very important for each and every individual to be part of this. There should be love, prosperity, and progress in the country. People should keep this in mind and come out to vote,” he said after casting his vote.

Veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan, along with wife Jaya Bachchan and daughter in law and son Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan were also seen at the Juhu polling booth this afternoon.

Actor and Former Chairman of Film and Television Institute of India Anupam Kher, after casting his vote, tweeted a video and urged people to “participate in the festival of democracy”.
