There are several reasons when people come to learn martial arts for self-defense. Martial arts are special techniques which help you to fight off attackers. It is a great way to burn calories if someone is ready to attack you then you are able to defend yourself and walk away unharmed. There are many forms of martial arts some are from ancient forms and some are combined or mixed martial arts.

Muay-Thai / Kick Boxing
Muay Thai is martial art which hails from Thailand it is the most notable heavy emphasis on stand-up strikes and clinching. Kickboxing trains you to use the art of 8 weapons- hands, fists, feet, knees, elbows, shins and head. This martial art helps you to defend yourself and attack the attacker. Kick Boxing is known for its brutal, unforgiving and straightforward attacks, just rush at your attacker and give a hard kick in the chin.

Krav Maga
Krav Maga is the hand-to-hand combat system of Israel's national martial art. Krav Maga was developed by Imi Lichtenfeld. It is designed to make you confident towards self-defense. It includes western boxing punches, karate kicks, Greco-roman wrestling, and Brazilian jiu-jitsu fighting. In Krav Maga, you block the left arm and push forward with the legs.

Karate
A form of Martial Art which means "Empty hand" because we can't use any weapon. Hands and legs are the main forms of defense and attack. Karate is not only for self-defense, but It also helps in health benefits which are not found in other martial arts.
