ICC recently released T-20 ranking that included 80 teams. India has lost 3 places in the ranking. It slipped from the second to the 5th position. Pakistan, who won the ICC World Twenty20 championship last year, remains at the top. This time ICC has added 80 teams to its ranking list. All these teams performed in accordance with all the rules and regulations of the ICC’s T-20 format.

In the T-20 ranking, Pakistan is at the top with 286 points followed by South Africa (262), England (261), Australia (261) and India (260). Afghanistan and Sri Lanka have gained one place each in the rankings. Afghanistan is ranked 7th and Sri Lanka is 8th. World Cup winners are West Indies 9th and Bangladesh 10th.

If any team has done spectacular performance after Afghanistan in the new teams, then it is Nepal. Nepal has gained three places, it has reached 14th to 11th position. Namibia reached the 20th position.

For the first time, 80 teams have been included in the ICC rankings. It has included all the member countries that have played 6 matches against the other ICC member country since May 2016. In the women’s rankings, it is mandatory for teams to play six matches against the other teams in the last three to four years.

Teams such as Austria, Botswana, Luxembourg, and Mozambique have got a place in this table for the first time. In it, the results of the 2015-16 series have been omitted. Also, the results of 2016-17 and 2017-18 were given 50 percent marks.
