The Story of this year’s title race just doesn’t reveal the winner any sooner. Last night, Liverpool had to produce another last-minute winner as Divock Origi produced a stunning header in the 85th minute. Earlier, Liverpool was leveled to Newcastle with a scoreline of 2-2. They were brought back in the game by Divock Origi, their last-minute goals specialist.

Van Dijk opened the scoreline in the 13th minute of the game with his wonderful and easy header. However, it only took Newcastle 7 minutes to answer and come up with a goal. Christian Atsu put them level after the Red Defense collapsed. It was then, Mohammed Salah who scored from his weak foot and converted Alexander Arnold’s kick with his flick in the net. The second half started with a 2-1 scoreline.

This means that Trent Alexander Arnold has now 11 assists on his name in in Premier League. This is the same number which his fellow full-back Robertson achieved last week. It does outline the fact that how crucial Reds’ full backs have been in Liverpool’s attack throughout the season forming unarguably the best wing back pair of the recent era.

Rondon thumped a volley into the net and then the score was leveled. Then Liverpool’s hunt for the winner started. Meanwhile, Mohammed Salah was badly injured. He suffered a head injury and was subbed off for the match hero Origi.

The much-needed goal for Liverpool came and this means that It is now again up to Manchester City to perform in their match against Leicester. “We could talk purely about showing real heart, showing real passion and showing real desire. It was just brilliant.” The boss reflects on the Reds’ win at St James’ Park.
