While there exists a lot of confusion about and complication about what to include in the diet. The first and foremost thing that needs to be understood is that good health isn’t about having a thin body, rather the key to having good health is to maintain your body instead of making efforts to lose weight.


1. Low fat# healthy food


The biggest myth that continues to exist is that food products which contain low fats are actually healthy food. A lot of food products like Low-Fat Sweetened Breakfast Cereal, flavoured yoghurt, cereals are actually not good for your health because these so-called low-fat products actually contain sugar in large quantities which doesn’t find much mention on the products.

2. Processed food v/s Real food


Want to make a difference in how you think, look and feel? The easy way is cutting out the processed food from your life. Increase the consumption of real food over processed food. No matter how much the processed food is made to look real they aren’t real at all.

“The short definition of ‘real’ food is food that doesn’t have a Nutrition Facts label. If it has a label, something’s been done to the food. If it doesn’t, nothing’s been done, it’s ‘real.”

3. Eliminating your favourites ?


If someone says us to eliminate our favourite food from the diet it would be one of the most difficult things to do. You exactly don’t need to eliminate it completely from your diet. What really is required that you include a few small steps like including a salad in your diet and then when it becomes part of your diet, you can actually think about including other healthy food in your diet. Never do excess of anything.

4. When you eat is equally important:


According to the studies eating only when you’re most active and giving your digestive system a long break each day may help to regulate weight. Thus it would be a better option if you have smaller meals and have early dinner.
