Indian weddings are all about food, dance, Daaru and gazing at who wore what. While it is common to hear out everyone’s ‘Expert opinion’ about the outfits, jewellery and make-up the undivided attention that a groom and bride receives at the wedding day would definitely make them wonder why are they marrying at first place and why the hell is it necessary to call the guests at the second place.
In most of the weddings, we hardly know 40-50 people, the rest of are those whom we had hardly met or known in our life but still, the number of people who gaze at the wedding couples are like endless. From wildly waiting for their turn to get a family photograph clicked with the groom and bride to getting mad when they do not get clicked the scenario at wedding halls is a hilarious one.
From little kids roaming around the bride and groom to elders gossiping and whispering about them to the youngsters staring at the bride and groom and passing their judgments about how they are looking and do they complement each other or not the bride and groom definitely gets the unwanted extra attention which pisses them at a point of time.
To tackle this undivided attention and probably to give them some private space the couple screened the cricket match at their wedding reception on the day of IPL final and quite obvious cricket took the centre stage and everyone was discussing about it.
It certainly looked like people forgot that they were at a wedding function. Truly some things can only happen in India.
