Saif Ali Khan, the Nawab of Bollywood turns a year older today. This Pataudi kid began his career with Yash Chopra’s Parampara in 1993. It has been more than 24 years since that movie and the actor has given us some of the incredible performances.
On the occasion of his birthday, here is a look at some of his roles that define his filmography.
1. Omkara
Omkara, which was an adaptation of William Shakespeare’s play, Othello came in 2006 and Saif Ali Khan showed his acting prowess like never before. His role in the film was widely appreciated as he convinced the audience with his raw, bald look much beyond his boy-next-door roles.
2. Cocktail
Saif Ali Khan won many hearts by his acting skills in the romantic comedy-drama film, with Deepika Paudkone. His dialogues made a huge impact among the audience. The 2012 emerged as a major commercial success in both India and abroad.
3. Love Aaj Kal
Saif Ali Khan's first production, Love Aaj Kal received positive reviews. Saif played a double role in the film. The first part deals with his love as a Sikh man and the second half showed his boy-next-door role as the hip ‘n’ happening dude.
4. Race 2
Saif with his new look in this action-thriller stole the show in the film. His grey avatar was loved by the audience as it became his trademark style. Race 2 was a hit worldwide and the first film to join Bollywood's 100 Crore Club in 2013.
5. Go Goa Gone
In this zombie comedy film, Saif Ali Khan came up with altogether different look with some kickass dialogues and perfect comic timing. Though the film didn’t work at the box-office, it was appreciated by the film critics for being innovative.
