As we all know how hot Indian summers are. The scorching heat of sun takes away all the energy from our body and sometimes makes our body dehydrate. In this case, it’s better to take in maximum water or liquid. Simple water cannot be taken frequently as it tastes monotonous. Our taste buds definitely need something cold and refreshing, moreover which is healthy for body too.
We sometimes cannot afford overpriced drinks at cafes. But don’t worry; I am going to tell you about some of the delicious and summer friendly drinks that can be made at home, very easily.
Here is the list of some cold and refreshing drinks that would protect you from the heated atmosphere, this summer.
1. Mint Virgin Mojito
You can buy Mojito syrum from any grocery shop. It’s available easily. Nothing can be more refreshing than Virgin Mojito with mint flavor in it. You can also make it home. All you need is:
• 1 and a 1/4 cups mint leaves
• 4-5 tsp lemon juice
• 300 ml Sprite/soda bottle
• 3 tsp sugar syrup
• 9-10 ice cubes
2. Iced Tea
Those who are the real lovers of ice tea; this is perfect treat for them in summers. It taste awesome with lot of ice cubes in it. This drink has great health benefits too. To make this at home, you need:
• 8 tea bags of any good-quality black tea
• 1 medium lemon or orange
• 8 cups simmering water
• Ice
3. Cold Frappe
Coffee lovers are fond of this delicious drink. Those who like coffee are always seen drinking this luscious cold frappe. Make this a home with these ingredients:
• 1 tsp instant coffee granules
• 1/4 cup boiling water
• 1 cup milk
• 4 and a half tsp chocolate syrup
• 1/2 cup crushed ice
4. Strawberry Lemonade Slush

• 2 dozen sliced strawberries
• 1 and a half cups sugar,
